All mothers part of this project will be sharing any anecdotal memories or inspirational thoughts that could be helpful in encouraging mothers everywhere as they view the documentary.

The film has been submitted to over 10 international film festivals. Discovering Our Mother's producer Justin P. Wayoro was nominated and won an award for Discovering Our Mothers; The Movie for the Community Access Partners of San Buenaventura (CAPS) Award in the Informational and Educational category. The real winners are all the mothers around the world.
