All mothers part of this project will be sharing any anecdotal memories or inspirational thoughts that could be helpful in encouraging mothers everywhere as they view the documentary.

​The film has been submitted to over 10 international film festivals. Discovering Our Mother's producer Justin P. Wayoro was nominated and won an award for Discovering Our Mothers; The Movie for the Community Access Partners of San Buenaventura (CAPS) Award in the Informational and Educational category. The real winners are all the mothers around the world.
